Jay has been enjoying The Completely Made Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, a comedic series about an unlikely leader of a band of misfits who stumbles into outrageous adventures while evading a corrupt thief-taker. He found it to be a fun and humorous reinterpretation of a classic character, with Noel Fielding bringing his unique comedic style to the role. Shua has been watching Severance, a surreal sci-fi series centered on a mysterious procedure that separates employees’ work lives from their personal memories. He enjoys its thought-provoking premise and the way it constantly keeps you guessing as the strange world unfolds.
Sci-Fi Saturdays
This week on Sci-Fi Saturdays Jay highlights Alita: Battle Angel in his Sci-Fi Saturdays column. The story takes place in a distant future where a discarded cyborg is discovered and revived, only to begin a journey of self-discovery while navigating a dangerous world filled with hidden truths.
