Daredevil Season 3 is almost here, and there’s a new trailer just in time for all the action! The Jon Favreau directed Star Wars live-action TV show has a title: The Mandalorian! Multiple Spider-Mans are abound in the newest trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse! And finally, finally The Wheel of Time television series is a go. It’s all here in the Week in Geek!

Daredevil Season 3
There’s a new villain headed to Hell’s Kitchen to face the Devil. But who is he? In newest trailer for Netflix’s Daredevil season 3, there’s plenty of action and dark times for Daredevil (Charlie Cox), and sinister plotting by his old nemesis Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio). Set to turn the tables on Daredevil, Fisk introduces New York to a new villain he has disguised as Daredevil, and sets him to do Fisk’s bidding. So who is this newcomer? Netflix officially confirmed the new baddie on the block is Benjamin Poindexter, aka Bullseye (played by Wilson Bethel). Daredevil hits tv screens October 19.
The Mandalorian
Director Jon Favreau announced via his Instagram that his new live-action Star Wars show will be titled The Mandalorian! Favreau also gave a brief plot synopsis, “After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far rom the authority of the New Republic….”. The show sounds interesting to say the least, and check out the first official photo above! Rumors are flying on the Internet as to who the lone blasterslinger may be. And check out the incredible list of directors set for episodes: Dave Filoni (he will direct the first episode), Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, and Take Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok). Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
A brand new trailer for Sony’s upcoming film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse swung in to take the Internet by storm this week! This movie looks amazing! So many Spider-people…including Spider-Ham (John Mulaney)! The multiple crimefighters must band together to fight villains and destroy a nuclear collider in order to get back to their own universes. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters December 14.
The Wheel of Time Television Series
It is official! Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time series is coming to television via Amazon Studios. This is amazing! After a long journey of rejections and waiting, the series was acquired by Sony which will work with Amazon on the Wheel of Time television series. The show will be led by Rafe Judkins (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.). “For so many people, including me, this book series has served as a world to escape to, to lose yourself in, to devour and inhabit completely,” Judkins said in a statement. “I couldn’t be more honored to be the one finally bringing that world to life on screen, for old fans to lose themselves in all over again and new fans to discover for the very first time.” As fans of the series know, the Wheel of Time keeps turning…”There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”
