Avengers: Age of Ultron

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Sokovia is a fictional eastern european country situated near the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In reality, its streets and squares were played by many locations including those in the Aosta Valley, Italy, Herndon College in the UK, and Verrès, Italy.

St. Patrick's Cathedral

St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Matt Murdock’s church, was first seen in Daredevil Season 1. It is a unique location having used the same place for the interiors and exteriors.

Vulture Hideout

Seen at different times during the film, the Vulture’s Hideout is a key location for the story of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Attack on Nick Fury

While many of Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s scenes that took place in Washington DC were shot there, a lot of the action sequences, including the attack on Nick Fury were shot in Cleveland, OH, very near locations for The Avengers.

Project Pegasus

In honor of Agents of SHIELD: Case Files tackling The Avengers and Item 47 this week, MCU: Location Scout goes behind the locations of Project Pegasus!

Brookemont Elementary School

In honor of Ant-Man & The Wasp now being available for download, MCU: Location Scout goes back to school with a couple of locations used for Brookemont Elementary School.

1942 Brooklyn

This week Agents of SHIELD: Case Files takes a look back at Captain America: The First Avenger, so here’s a cross-promotional look at the 1942 Brooklyn street scenes!

Wakanda Forest

To film the mysterious environments of Wakanda, the filmmakers didn’t need to leave the state of Georgia. The Wakanda Forest from the end of Avengers: Infinity War was shot in the lovely Tallulah Gorge State Park, part of the larger Chattahoochee National Forest covering part of Georgia and into Tennessee. Come see how this location was found!

Colleen Wing's Dojo

Colleen Wing’s Dojo, the Chikara Dojo, is located in the fringe areas of Chinatown – in the shadow of the Manhattan Bridge – and serves as Colleen’s apartment as well as her studio. To celebrate the Second Season of Iron Fist, dropping Friday, September 7, 2018, we present this look back at an iconic location from Season One.

Bifrost Bridge

Kenneth Branagh’s Thor is an incredible film. It introduces the MCU to Thor, Loki, Asgard & the Bifrost Bridge. And yet, even though a majority of the film takes place in mystical realms, the filmmakers still managed to use some very Earth-bound locations to film the action.

Central Park Bridle Path

The few locations in Avengers: Infinity War that were actually shot outside of a studio are few and far between. But regardless of where they seem to be, they were all (mostly) shot in Atlanta, GA – including the scenes of Tony and Pepper on the Central Park Bridle Path.

Stark Expo

To coincide with the discussion of Iron Man 2, on the Agents of SHIELD: Case Files podcast this week, MCU: Location Scout will be taking a look at the multiple locations that make up the Stark Expo.
