Just as Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka are making their departure from Mortis, the Son abducts Ahasoka and forces the Jedi to return in the second episode of the “Mortis Arc.”
In the last episode of The Clone Wars, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan found themselves on the strange planet of Mortis and confronted by a trio of Force wielding beings. One of the, the Father, believed that Anakin was “The Chosen One” and asked him to stay and keep his children, who were aligned with the light and dark sides of the Force, in balance. Anakin refused, and in this episode, the Jedi were preparing to make their departure. However, the Son, who is aligned with the dark side of the Force, has other ideas and abducts Ahsoka to force Anakin to return to the planet. From there the Son manipulates the Jedi into doing his bidding and potentially throwing the Force out of balance for good.
