Anakin and Padmé send Threepio and Artoo on an “important” mission to retrieve Jogan fruit unaware that Cad Bane is on their tail in this episode of The Clone Wars.
Following the prior episode of The Clone Wars in which Ziro the Hutt attempted to have Senator Amidala assassinated, Padmé is preparing an important diplomatic banquet. Unfortunately, a key ingredient of the meal is missing, and Anakin sends Threepio and Artoo to get it. Unbeknownst to them, Cad Bane is tracking them down in the hopes of extracting the Senate floor plans from Threepio’s memory. All of this is leading to a bigger mission and an episode of The Clone Wars we have already seen. We’re breaking down the hijinks in this episode of Podcast Stardust.
