Jedi Master Emrick Caphtor and Investigator Sian Holt hunt down the source the weapon of the Nihil that has been haunting the Jedi.
Loden Greatstorm’s death on Grizal was shocking and horrifying to the Jedi. When Stellan Gios can’t get past the fate of the former Jedi Master, he assigns Jedi Master Emrick Caphtor to investigate what mysterious weapon the Nihil possess that can threaten Jedi so. Neither of them are aware that private investigator Sian Holt is involved in a related case investigating a Nihil weapon that that a rogue Nihil is trying to sell on the black market. Before long, Emrick and Sian’s missions intersect and they team up to find out more about the mysterious Nihil threat in The High Republic: Trail of Shadows.
