The action from The Book of Boba Fett Chapter 6 returns to Tatooine as Din Djarin tries to recruit foot soldiers for Boba Fett’s fight against the Pykes.
With his business elsewhere concluded, the Mandalorian returns to Tatooine to fulfill his promise to help Boba Fett and Fennec Shand. Once he arrives there, he quickly undertakes a mission to secure some foot soldiers to aid in the fight against the Pykes. He calls on an old ally in Mos Pelgo — Cobb Vanth. Although he doesn’t secure a firm promise of help, it is a start. However, no sooner has he left Mos Pelgo than a notorious figure arrives.
Our discussion of The Book of Boba Fett Chapter 6 started going long in our last episode, so we broke it into two parts. In this episode, we leave behind Luke Skywalker, Grogu, and Ahsoka and return to the action on Tatooine.
In this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:
- Din Djarin’s arrival at Jabba’s palace on Tatooine,
- Fennec Shand describing the current situation between Boba Fett and the Pykes,
- The Mandalorian’s attempt to recruit Cobb Vanth and the citizens of Mos Pelgo,
- The showdown between Cobb Vanth and Cad Bane,
- Cad Bane, Cad Bane, and more Cad Bane,
- Whether this series should have had a different title other than The Book of Boba Fett, and
- Some of our expectations for the season finale.
